THE AUTHOR

I’ve loved writing since I was inspired by the first fiction novel I read at age twelve. Since then, I’ve journaled, written numerous short stories and had a popular monthly column in a community magazine in which I interviewed pet owners and wrote the pets’ stories from their point of view.

After retiring from a career of three decades in the legal field, I turned my energies toward writing more seriously and joined some helpful critique groups, something all writers know is a supportive necessity.

Mental health has been a strong interest since young adulthood. Coming from a large family, we’ve had our share of individuals who struggle with mental health challenges. I’ve witnessed firsthand the repercussions to those people, and all those who love and care about them.

It’s my hope that Wolf and the Thief will help inspire more compassion and empathy toward those who are dealing with cognition issues, and the people who are trying their best to care for those individuals.

I invite you to reach out to me via this website to continue the conversation about your experiences with mental health, or about writing, or both. Thank you!
